Joe Rogan Accuses Donald Trump of Gaslighting Him

It’s pretty funny to watch men who believe themselves to be smarter and more discerning than everyone else start to realize they got played by a pervy, felony-convicted, geriatric with a fast-food addiction. First it was Andrew Schulz, who began to slowly suss out that Donald Trump might be lying about this whole Epstein Files situation. “Everything he campaigned on I believe he wanted to do, and now he’s doing the exact opposite thing of every single fucking thing,” Schulz said two weeks ago.It was a blow to Trump’s podcast bro cabal, many of whom helped generate support among young men for the president during his 2024 campaign. Now, Trump is losing another treasured supporter. Later and louder than Schulz, Joe Rogan is currently accusing the Trump administration of trying to gaslight him and the general public. Finally, Rogan is realizing that nothing Trump’s administration is saying about what really happened with Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes and later death makes sense. Rogan, who lacks the intellectual discipline to abstain from immediately jumping to conspiracy theories, needed Trump to absolve himself of any suspected involvement. Play“We thought Trump was going to come in and a lot of things are going to be resolved,” Rogan wailed, while speaking with former CIA agent and 17-time Joe Rogan Experience guest Mike Baker. “We’re going to drain the swamp. We’re going to figure everything out.”Unable or unwilling to recognize that he is in, and of, the swamp he so despises, Rogan continued to issue his displeasure with Trump’s increasingly muddied involvement with Epstein crimes. “There’s a line in the sand,” Rogan explained. “This is the one everybody’s been talking about forever, and they’re trying to gaslight you on that.”To be clear, I don’t believe Rogan’s line in the sand is that Trump cavorted with a child sex trafficker and possibly contributed to those children’s exploitation — the line is that Trump lied to him and lied to his base. At one point in the conversation, Baker is explaining how Trump’s team created the Epstein crisis. No one else cared about Epstein, no one else was making that a campaign issue. But Trump has been “throwing red meat to the mob about Epstein files now for years,” Baker said. “It’s part of how they got elected,” Rogan added, dejectedly. Through the addictive haze of brain-rot conspiracy theories, Rogan is finally starting to get it — though he seemed to avoid any personal culpability in getting Trump elected despite his previous immense public support for the president. The 20 million people subscribed to Rogan’s YouTube channel might be tempted to change their minds about Trump now though, given that their veiny-headed leader has finally discovered he’s been manipulated. Is that the Woke Mind Virus kicking in?
