Fawn Killer: Mike Groves shared these images captured June 3 on his Jones County trail camera. The picture of the doe and newborn fawn was taken at 11:31 a.m., and at 4:25 p.m. the same day the coyote has a fawn in its mouth.
Wart Issues: Rob Vincent got this picture in 2022 of a young buck with deer warts—growths known as deer fibroma. Most deer with these growths live a normal life, and it is not spread to humans or other animal species.
Fawn Season… Literally: A doe in south Newton County happened to walk past Doug Clemens’ trail camera as she was giving birth to a fawn. He got the picture at 3:37 p.m. on May 25.
Standing Tall: This Meriwether County doe was territorial around the salt lick. GON subscriber Russell Morris, of Temple, submitted the photo from July 13, 2022.
