Bad Cop
Bad Cop is DisneyPlus Hotstar’s latest crime drama. The web series follows the story of twin brothers Karan and Arjun. While Karan grows up to be a cop, Arjun becomes a thief. When Karan is missing after a shootout, Arjun takes his place to bring down the functions of a gangster named Kazbe. Its synopsis reads, “Twin brothers on the opposite sides of the law get caught in a complex web of deceit, loyalty, and betrayal.”
The web series has several talented actors, including Gulshan Devaiah, Anurag Kashyap, Saurabh Sachdeva, Harleen Sethi, Aishwarya Sushmita, and others.
The Legend Of Hanuman Season 4
The fourth season of the popular animated web series The Legends Of Hanuman also came out in 2024. It focuses on Lord Hanuman’s fight with Ravan. The Legends Of Hanuman Season 4’s official synopsis reads, “As the war intensifies in Ravan’s majestic Lanka, Hanuman faces mightier foes for his Lord Ram and his vaanar sena.”

Karmma Calling saw Raveena Tandon get back to the OTT world. However, it is soon revealed that Karma has a dark past that she can never leave behind. Besides Tandon, the DisneyPlus Hotstar web series also cast Namrata Sheth, Varun Sood, Viraf Patel, and others.
Baahubali: Crown Of Blood
Baahubali: Crown Of Blood is another addition to the Baahubali franchise created by celebrated filmmaker SS Rajamouli. However, the show is based on years before the events of the Baahubali film franchise. The animated web series has pleased the audience with its intense script. It features how Amrendra Baahubali and Bhallaldev once got together to get rid of one of the most powerful villains that Mahishmati has ever faced.
What made the animated series special was it brought the original cast back together to dub their respective characters.
Lootere
Lootere is another Hotstar original created by Hansal Mehta and Shailesh R Singh. The web series is based on the story of a hijacked ship off the coast of Somalia. It stars Vivek Gomber, Preetika Chawla, Amruta Khanvilkar, Rajat Kapoor, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Gaurav Paswala. Its official synopsis reads, “When pirates hijack a ship off the coast of Somalia, a high-stakes game is played with innocent lives and a precious piece of cargo aboard.”
Showtime
Emraan Hashmi starred in the 2024 web series Showtime. The star-studded show also has Naseeruddin Shah, Mouni Roy, Mahima Makwana, and Rajeev Khandelwal. Mihir Kumar and Archit Desai created the show, whose synopsis reads, “An epic saga of legacy and ambition, get a glimpse behind the multimillion-dollar industry of Bollywood, nepotism, and power struggles at the top.” It throws light on Bollywood and its darker side.
