Nicole Kidman’s Move to Europe May Not Include Keith Urban, Documents Say

Earlier this week, the news outlet, SIC Notícias, reported that Nicole Kidman applied for residency in Portugal, two years after she and Keith Urban bought a home in Parque das Nações. And now, they’re allegedly looking to snag an exclusive estate in the CostaTerra Golf & Ocean Club luxury development (next to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry). But fans noticed something else: Urban wasn’t on the residency documents.
In documents obtained by The New York Post, Kidman lodged her application with the country’s immigration agency, but Urban wasn’t on it.
Now, before you start the breakup rumor train, stop. The same outlet revealed that Urban was unable to go to the mandatory in-person appointment because of his upcoming tour. However, he’s reportedly expected to apply soon.
“Keith was unable to be in Portugal for this appointment as he is currently on tour in the US and it is mandatory for applicants to be physically present in order to apply for the visa,” the insider said to the outlet. “He is scheduled to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule. While Nicole and Keith own a home in Portugal, their primary residence will continue to be in Nashville.”
For those that don’t know, Kidman and Urban met back in Jan 2005 during the G’Day USA gala. They didn’t date til months later, and then they got engaged one year later. They married a month later in 2006, and welcomed two daughters together, named Sunday, born in July 2008, and Faith, born in Dec 2010.
(Kidman also has two children from her previous marriage to ex-husband Tom Cruise: Bella, born in Dec 1992, and Connor, born in Jan 1995.)
