Elon Musk Slams Brazil Judge Amid Starlink Accounts Block Reports: 'Outright Criminal'
Elon Musk on Thursday responded to online reports of Brazilian Supreme Court judge Alexandre de Moraes blocking Starlink financial accounts in the country. The tech billionaire, who also leads X and Tesla, called Moraes a 'dictator' and an 'outright criminal' in a series of tweets. Authorities have not issued a statement about the reported block yet, but several social media users claim that all Starlink managers have been summoned to address the amounts owed to Brazilian courts. While Musk did not confirm the block, he went on a rant against Judge Alexandre de Moraes. "The tyrant, @Alexandre, is dictator of Brazil. Lula is his lapdog," he replied to a post about Starlink on X, platform formerly known as Twitter. Earlier this month, the microblogging site announced plans to shut down operations and dismiss staff in Brazil, citing "censorship orders." Moraes' Wednesday ruling emphasized that companies violating internet regulations or privacy laws could face temporary suspension under Brazilian law.Related News | Elon Musk Reacts To Pavel Durov's Arrest In France: 'Its 2030 In Europe...''Please Yell At Me If...': Elon Musk's Reminder After Zuckerberg Admits Facebook Censored COVID ContentRead More: JD Vance Says Kamala Harris Can 'Go To Hell', Slams VP For Afghanistan WithdrawalThe Supreme Court posted a screenshot of the court decision on its X account, tagging Musk's and X's Global Government Affairs accounts.
