ABC execs are in crisis mode to prevent The View from being cancelled. The talk show was created by Barbara Walters to see what women are talking about and get their political point of view. The intention was to have no script, but rather, just get a conversation going. In addition, the original intent of the show was to have all political viewpoints represented. However, recently it came to light that over 100 left-wing guests have been invited so far in 2025, and no right-wing guests. The View Has Zero Conservative Guest In 2025
The View has long been accused of leaning left. The panel consists of Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Ana Navarro, who all lean Democrat. In addition, the panel has only one conservative member, Alyssa Farah Griffin. With a lopsided panel, it has historically been very difficult for conservative guests to come on the show. Often, Whoopi Goldberg will resort to storming off set when met with conservative opposition. However, things have gotten much worse for The View, as it has been revealed that they have had zero right-wing guests in 2025.

ABC executives have launched a major investigation into how it is that 102 left-wingers appeared on the daytime chat show and not a single right-wing individual. One insider said, “This was never meant to be a one-sided political soapbox, but the data is clear, and now there’s pressure to fix it.” The insider continued, “Top brass wants change, fast. They’re terrified this becomes an election-year scandal.” It has been reported that ABC executives are “Panicked” over The View’s 2025 bookings.

The View has become a partisan soapbox, which is far from the original intention behind the show. In addition, A producer of the show recently stated that having only left-wing guests has created “A credibility issue. It’s not just right-wing noise. It’s a real problem.” In addition, Alyssa Farah Griffin, the only conservative co-host, has said she felt like “window dressing” and has very little input into discussions with guests. An insider has said that Griffin “Tried to speak up, but when 102 Democrats get booked first, the message is loud and clear.” However, with the current climate at The View, it is no wonder Alyssa finds it hard to speak up.

The View co-host Joy Behar recently bashed Republican President Donald Trump. She said,
“The thing about him is he is so jealous of Obama, because Obama is everything that he is not. Trim. Smart. Handsome. Happily married. And can sing Al Green’s song ‘Let’s Stay Together’ better than Al Green.”
Joy Behar’s comments ignited a response from the White House. White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers responded,
“Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s no surprise that The View’s ratings hit an all-time low last year. She should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off air.”

The View executives will have to make major changes to the talk show to save the show from the chopping block. Other shows that swing hard left have recently been canceled, such as The Late Show hosted by Democrat Stephen Colbert. ABC will need to book more conservative guests. In addition, they will need to take a more bipartisan approach to stay on air.
