$710,000 Megabucks ticket claimed in Attleboro

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. -- The jackpot for a winning lottery ticket sold in North Attleboro earlier this year was claimed on Wednesday.
Talk about a Happy Fourth of July!
Coogan Smith 2024 Clients' Trust One, a local law firm, claimed the $710,000 prize sought in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Megabucks drawing that took place on Wednesday, May 22.

Trustee Stephen Withers Jr. represented the company to claim the cash at the Lottery Headquarters in Dorchester.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pick ‘N Pay off South Washington St. in North Attleboro. The store will receive a $7,100 bonus for selling this ticket.
This adds to the previous two jackpots won since Megabucks was redesigned in Nov. 2023.
