Former “serial cheater” Jame Barrett says he finally found relationship bliss — by giving up monogamy and diving headfirst into a full-blown polyamorous household, complete with five wives and a whopping 11 children.
Barrett, 30, says that juggling multiple romantic partners — with everyone in the loop — is the only thing that keeps him from sneaking around.
“I was always a cheater in my monogamous relationships,” Barrett, a recording artist based in Los Angeles, confessed to What’s The Jam.
“I’ve always had a desire for variety,” he explained.
And he doesn’t just mean in his love life.

Ex-cheater Jame Barrett says he kicked his monogamy habit — and found peace in a polyamorous household with five wives and 11 kids.

“I’m like that, not just with my women,” he revealed.
Now, Jame shares his life — and presumably a very full Google Calendar — with Cameron, 29; Jessica, 31; Reta, 28; Gabby, 30; and Diana, 30.
He’s been with Cameron and Jessica the longest — 13 years — while his “newest” partner Diana has been in the picture for four.
The poly daddy also parents a small army: Aiden, 12; Abel, 11; Jessie, 9; Ayaan, 6; Jett, 5; JD, 4; Sophia, 4; Octavia, 3; Bobby, 2; Cleo, 1; and baby Summer, 11 months.
“I also felt like I wasn’t being true and honest with myself, so I felt more limited and internally conflicted,” he added.
Now, he said he feels “freer and more at peace” and like he has “grown and matured.”

Barrett claims polyamory has improved his relationships — and his parenting.
“My poly relationship is so much better,” he said. But like any other relationship, it has its “pros and cons.”
On the one hand, Barrett acknowledged, you have more “spousal help.”
Barrett, who has always “wanted a lot of kids,” can “get that quicker” now, and his “desire for variety is satisfied.”
But he admits it’s not all love and light.
“On the other hand, it’s more work to lead five women and 11 kids, and it’s more work to be dependent on them, to be their emotional and financial support,” he said.

“But at the end of the day, I love them all deeply, and it has elevated me as a man.”
As for his wives, who all live together under one West Coast roof, Jame swears they’re on board — even if things sometimes get a little Real Housewives of LA.

“They say the pros are helping with the kids and not as much spousal stress,” he said.
“The cons are just that you get jealous, understandably, and that you don’t get as much one-on-one time as you’d like. It’s hard to get along sometimes” in a lifestyle that is “practiced all over the world,” he said.
But noted his setup stands out because it’s not tied to religion or culture.
Instead, “we found true love in it,” he noted, adding that many people reach out with gratitude and encouragement — proof to him that there’s “a bigger purpose here.”
Now, he’s on a mission to shake up relationship norms.

“Monogamy isn’t the only way to love,” he told the What’s the Jam.
“We want to normalize and legalize polygamy — not the weird, religious, culty stuff, but like normal adults who just decided that they want this relationship type.”
