Allen Lazard is not going anywhere … for now.
The Jets and Lazard agreed on a revised contract that has Lazard taking an $8.5 million pay cut, according to Over The Cap.
Lazard had been scheduled to make $11 million in 2025, which made him a likely cut for the Jets. The revised deal cuts the guaranteed portion of his salary to $1.75 million. His base salary is $2.25 million.
He will become a free agent in 2026.
At the NFL’s annual meeting last week, Jets general manager Darren Mougey said the “hope” was that Lazard would remain on the team under a revised deal.
