Teen Mom star Tyler Baltierra’s calculated move backfired as his hypocrisy has been called out. That father of four tried to do his best lately, but fans were not buying his act. So, what exactly did Tyler do? Keep reading for more details.

There has been a lot of anger toward Teen Mom stars Tyler Baltierra and his wife Catelynn Lowell. Many fans and followers have felt that they need therapy to deal with placing their first child up for adoption. They were just teenagers when they found out that they were having their daughter, Carly. Given how they grew up and what their family was like, this was not an environment suitable for a baby. They went on to have three more girls and get married, still keeping in touch with Carly. However, when she was nearly 15, her adoptive parents blocked Catelynn for their mental health.

This has plagued Catelynn and Tyler, leading them to speak out incessantly. Not everything they say about Carly’s parents is kind, and it could lead to them never seeing her again. Recently, Tyler posted a short clip of him doing his girls’ hair before school. He played music and was having a good time with his kids, but a fan asked where Catelynn was. More so, they wanted to know if she was sleeping, as she has been known to do.
It should have been a sweet and powerful moment, but Teen Mom fans felt that Catelynn Lowell was being lazy. That was when Tyler Baltierra clapped back and said that Cate was sleeping, but it was for a good reason. He defended his wife and stated she put everyone’s needs before her own. However, in the past, he had repeatedly vented about Cate being lazy, always in her robe sleeping. Therefore, trying to make it seem like he cared so much about her getting rest appeared very hypocritical. He also maintained that fathers can do the same as mothers, and that needs to be normalized.

After Teen Mom fans saw Tyler Baltierra’s response, they had enough. Immediately, they called him out for all of the times he slammed Catelynn Lowell:
Ok Tyler let’s not act like there aren’t MULTIPLE scenes on the show where you’re venting to your mom with how annoyed you are that cate was just laying around the house all day not helping.
This is so funny to me, because the whole reason he even posted that video was for claps and praise 😶
Yeah !! He’s a hypocrite and wants to pretend that he’s a great father and a great husband on social media when he forgets how awful he treats Cate and bashing her because she’s not doing anything 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄.
He and Cate addressed a scene where he called her a “heifer” as she was attempting to lose weight. They claimed the editing made it look far worse. Now, one fan did say that Tyler takes the morning shift with the girls while Cate takes the evening. Sadly, his heroic attempt fell flat.
