We had another beautiful day in Ocean City today, and Kristen and I had another fun day of fishing the back bay. Caught some throwback flounder and then had some fun with the spot up in the Thorofare. Hope the nice weather keeps up.
Congratulations to Captain Chris Little and the crew of the Talkin' Trash for catching the first white marlin for the Ocean City Marlin Club. Talkin' Trash released their fish yesterday at noon in the Baltimore Canyon and will be awarded $5,000 from the OC Marlin Club.
Captain Brian Porter and the crew of Boss Hogg had a really cool catch today when they released an estimated 400 pound giant bluefin tuna. Captain Brian estimated the big bluefin at approximately 85" and the fish was released to swim another day.
This crew lucked into a nice yellowfin tuna while fishing on board the Pumpin' Hard out of Sunset Marina.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported a slow start, but fishing picked up as the day went on and they saw some nice sea bass and some flounder.
Anglers fishing with Captain Dave Caffrey on On the Run had fun today catching bluefish up to 10 pounds and some keeper flounder of 18" and 19". They also caught a throwback flounder with brown on both sides.
Alexa and Layla Knauer caught their first ever flounder today on Deadly Tackle Deadly Doubles while fishing with their dad Rob in the Thorofare.
