USC’s Board of Trustees approve budget during June meeting
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– University of South Carolina’s Board of Trustees met on Wednesday, June 19, and passed the annual budget.
The board approved the 2024-2025 fiscal year budget which allows USC to hold tuition flat for in-state students for a sixth year in a row.
Also, it will be the seventh year in a row for system institutions, says university officials.
According to the university’s website, tuition for non-residents is increasing by 3.9%.
School officials say with the university’s continuance of strong enrollment and financial support from state lawmakers, the budget allows the university to invest in its future without significant increases in tuition.
