No, Tom Pickett’s Charlie did not die in Fire Country. His life was saved by Eve.
Charlie Pickett’s tenure on the show concludes with a harrowing near-death experience in Episode 10, Get Your Hopes Up. Having secured an early parole release and submitted a Cal Fire employment application, Charlie suffers severe injuries after being trapped beneath a delivery truck. The vehicle crashes into Station 42, causing significant damage and placing Charlie in critical condition.
Charlie started bleeding. However, Bode and Eve noticed him, with the latter claiming he could die pretty quickly. After being freed, Charlie’s pulse slowed and he slowly started drifting into an unconscious state. Fortunately for him, Eve performed CPR and saved his life.
Will Charlie return in Fire Country Season 3?
It is currently unknown if Charlie will return in Fire Country Season 3. He also did not return for Season 2.
Charlie’s actor Tom Pickett is also unsure if the character will show up again. This was evident In an Instagram post from January 2023, where Pickett expressed pride in working on Fire Country. In the post, a fan named Valerie Jacober asked him if he would be in more episodes. To this, Pickett simply replied, “Send up a prayer Val.”
Furthermore, Fire Country Season 3 is currently scheduled for October 18, 2024. Supernatural alum Jared Padalecki will have a recurring role in the new season, as per Variety.
