I’m not exactly sure when the seismic shift happened, but there’s no denying it: Daisy Edgar-Jones is fashion’s newest it girl. While it was the ruffled, boho Chloé outfit she wore on the Twisters press tour that cemented my obsession, her recent style shift has me breathlessly waiting for my next Daisy sighting.
After discovering that the British star’s style makeover is the work of celebrity stylist Dani Michelle, it’s no wonder I’m obsessed. Michelle, now the Creative Director of Joe’s Jeans, has developed a cult-like following for her transformative—dare I say, life-changing—work styling high-profile celebs like Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner. Recently, she’s outfitted Edgar-Jones in a range of modern, bohemian looks, making her the poster child for 2024’s boho resurgence. It’s safe to say that Daisy’s recent rotation of outfits has been turning heads—mine included. These are four Daisy Edgar-Jones-inspired looks I’m recreating this fall.

It’s as if Dani Michelle created a walking, talking billboard for the season’s top trends when she decided to dress Edgar-Jones in this outfit. This look is all about color—namely this season’s trending burgundy hue. I’m replicating this outfit with a pop of burgundy that I already own for a similar effect, minus the need to buy something new. If you do want to invest in a burgundy jacket for fall, though—I don’t blame you!—I found just the one.

I don’t know about you, but put me in an all-white look and I’m feeling as chic as they come. There’s something about a monochromatic color scheme that feels so alluring—and when it’s done in white, almost ethereal. But it isn’t just the white dress that feels otherworldly here; it’s the subtle sweep of the funnel-neck, the effortlessly wispy bangs, and the strategic placement of a sculptural cuff on her forearm. Every thoughtful detail works to establish an effortless appeal that has me begging to recreate it.

When I first saw this photo of Daisy, my jaw hit the ground. This is perhaps the very outfit that solidified her as this season’s official style muse. However accessible a designer dupe may be in this day and age, unfortunately, an affordable look that’s similar to this isn’t exactly on the table; instead, I refocused my efforts on sourcing head-to-toe blue in an accessible way with a slip dress and cardigan.
