Monster Jam Drivers Putting on a Summer Show

Ryan Anderson
After leaving World Finals XXIII without a fifth championship trophy, Ryan Anderson began the summer season with a bang winning the Overall Event Championship at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Not to be outdone, he added event wins in Kansas City and Nashville and is one of only five drivers to have earned an Overall, Racing, Skills, and Freestyle win this summer. Clearly it has been a Son-uva Digger Summer in Monster Jam.
Blake Granger
The International Series Champion has picked up right where he left off, dominating overseas. Behind the wheel of El Toro Loco, Blake swept the weekend in Abu Dhabi winning all three event championships. His three Skills wins since World Finals ties him with Weston Anderson for the most in the sport and, when you add multiple wins in Racing, Skills, Sky Wheelies, and Freestyles, it’s clear that the Louisiana native continues to drive with something to prove.
Matt Cody
Grave Digger seemingly can’t be stopped on the International Series as Matt Cody continues to prove why he deserved the Arena Championship Series West title, leading the “Black-and-Green Wrecking Machine” to Overall Event Championships in Dresden and Cardiff. Matt has reached the top of the podium in both Racing and Skills, but it has been Freestyle where he has really shined, tied for the league lead with three summer victories.
Tyler Menninga
Tyler closed the biggest event of the year at SoFi Stadium by winning the BKT Freestyle Championship, so it was only fitting that in his first weekend back behind the wheel of Grave Digger, he would win all three events in Manchester, NH. He would add another in Allentown giving him the top spot in all of Monster Jam with four Overall Event Championship wins.
Tristan England
Tristan recently competed in London for the first time in his career, winning Racing and Skills, and finishing second in the overall standings. But on a grander scale, he was able to introduce the JCB DIGatron to our international fans right in JCB’s backyard. The former World Finals Champion had a spectacular year finishing second in his series and making it to the JCB Racing final at SoFI, and so far, has proven to be once again one of the fastest on the racetrack, co-leading Monster Jam with three Racing wins.
