Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl says ‘we actually play live’ on ‘errors tour’ as Taylor Swift fans call out rocker for ‘shade’
LEAD singer Dave Grohl has appeared to take a swipe at Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour during the Foo Fighters’ show in London on Saturday.
Dave seemed to accuse the pop star of not singing live during her ongoing 6th concert tour.

“We like to call our tour the ‘Errors Tour,'” he said during his show in London. “Because we actually play live.”
He called out the popular singer by name saying, “You don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.”
Swifties were quick to respond, calling Dave’s comment “unnecessary.”
“Wow, Grohl so washed he has to use Taylor’s name for free pr,” said one social media user.
“Embarrassing thought he was better than that what a shame.”
The former Nirvana drummer formed the Foo Fighters in 1994 and has served as their lead singer and guitarist ever since.
Meanwhile, Taylor’s debut album was released in the United States and Canada in October 2006, although she had been performing for years before that.
Fans said Dave’s dig has changed their perspective of the musician, with one social media user asking him to keep it “classy.”
“He’s known to be one of the coolest, nicest guys,” said another. “This is… not a great look for him.”
This comes after a turbulent period for the Foo Fighters.
In March 2022, their lead drummer Taylor Hawkins died from “cardiovascular collapse.”
A year later, the band made plans to replace Taylor in an effort to start performing again.
“Taylor loved to jam with anybody and everybody, so this collection of friends and family and musicians is brought together by him and we’re all connected here today by that one guy,” Dave told the Wembley Stadium crowd in London, last September.
The Foo Fighters decided to unveil their newest addition to the group via a live-streamed event.

FULL STEAM AHEAD
The Eras Tour is currently in London at the Wembley stadium.
The next stop is Dublin’s Aviva Stadium where Paramore will open for Taylor.
Swifties have been quick to point out that Taylor does perform live.
However, since there are so many individual tracks on her songs, she can’t sing them all.
“Saying taylor swift doesn’t perform live is one of the most overused insulting false accusations there has ever been,” commented one fan.
“You don’t get to say that about this team that works their asses off for hours every night for a year,” they added.
