Mass. woman charged with OUI in connection with fatal crash on highway
A 46-year-old woman was driving under the influence of alcohol when she crashed into a van on Interstate 90 in Ludlow on Saturday evening, pushing the van off the highway and killing its driver, according to prosecutors.Nicole Deren, of Belchertown, is charged with operation while under the influence of alcohol motor vehicle homicide, operation while under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of personal injury resulting in death and motor vehicle homicide by reckless operation, according to Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni’s office.
