I’m 35 but my skin looks better than at 25 – I can’t live without a Boots buy that banishes wrinkles & is 14p to use

In the clip, Elle revealed: “I turn 35 this year and not to butter my own muffin but my skin looks better now than it did at 25.”
The beauty pro then took viewers around the aisles of Boots to show the products she would buy if she had to start her skincare collection again.
She first revealed that she never washes her face in the morning, adding ‘Your skin will thank you for that.’
For those with dry or normal skin types, not washing it in the morning can stop it from drying out.
Elle recommended buying The Original Squalene Cleanser to use in the evening for £14.90.
She said this can double up as makeup remover and your second cleanse for the night.
Next on the list was the Curel moisturising spray to keep her skin hydrated as well as the Byoma milky toner and hydrating serum.
Elle also recommended the Inkey List retinol serum, which is currently on offer for £12.60 in stores and costs just 14p per application.
Retinol is a key ingredient when it comes to banishing wrinkles and Elle’s glowing skin proves it.
There’s a multitude of reasons retinol is so good for the skin – from increasing cell production, exfoliation, banishing dark marks, acne and increasing collagen production to banish wrinkles.

Elle also recommended Avene for moisturisers and the Beauty of Joseon SPF cream.
She later revealed her morning and evening skincare routines, starting in the morning, Elle uses the hydrating mist, the hydrating serum, moisturiser and SPF.
Then, for the evening, she double cleanses, uses the hydrating mist, hydrating serum, retinol, moisturiser and the Beauty of Joseon SPF cream.
The clip soon went viral on her TikTok account @bambidoesbeauty with over 159k views and 8,400 likes.
Biggest skincare trends for 2025
Face The Future’s Head of Clinic, Kimberley Medd, shared the five skincare trends predicted to take off in 2025.
1. Exosomes
Exosomes are the buzzword for 2025, taking advanced skin regeneration to new heights. These micro-messengers signal skin cells to repair damage, boost collagen, and accelerate recovery, and they’re a gamechanger for targeting ageing.
2. Streamlined Skincare
The age of 12-step routines is fading as consumers shift to more intentional, multi-functional products. Streamlining skincare not only saves time but also reduces the risk of overloading your skin. In 2025, we’ll see a rise in hybrid products that combine active ingredients for simplified, effective results.
3. Vegan Collagen
Plant-based collagen will dominate the skincare world this year, providing a sustainable, ethical alternative to traditional animal-derived collagen. Expect vegan collagen in everything from moisturisers to serums.
4. The Rise Of AI
AI is revolutionising the beauty landscape, making it possible for consumers to get truly personalised skincare solutions. In 2025, we predict a dramatic shift towards AI-powered tools that help people understand their skin on a deeper level.
5. Hair Loss Solutions –
Hair loss is an issue that affects more men than we often realise, and it’s no longer just something we’re talking about behind closed doors. This year, expect to see a continued rise in demand for treatments that not only tackle hair loss but also nurture overall scalp health.
People were quick to take to the comments thanking her for the shopping advice.
One person wrote: “I love your recommendations! Just bought the silicone tape too.”
Another commented: “Korean skincare is where it’s at.”
“I rinse with water in the morning (unless I lazily skip my night routine) and have for years and it’s been so good. Saves a lot of money too,” penned a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth asked: “Can you still skip your morning cleanse if you’re using retinol at night?” Ellie replied that you can.
