GALLERY: Team Knighten crowned Team Series champions

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In a neck-and-neck sprint for the General Tire Team Series crown, team Knighten Industries came out on top at the grand finale of the Bass Pro Shops Championship Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches.
Wesley Strader, Scott Suggs and Matt Becker carried their momentum from winning the Wild Card Round into the Championship Round, where they caught 42 bass weighing 72 pounds, 5 ounces. Becker — the reigning Fishing Clash Angler of the Year on the Bass Pro Tour — led the way with 34-5 on 18 fish. Strader chipped in 13 bass for 19-2 and Suggs totaled 18-14 on 11 bass. Their combined efforts were worth $300,000 and bragging rights as the second General Tire Team Series champions.

Team Knighten Industries had to battle to outlast team Crockett Creek (Matt Lee, James Elam and Jonathon VanDam), which finished a mere 7-13 behind with 39 bass totaling 64-9. Meanwhile, team Kubota (Dean Rojas, Michael Neal and Takahiro Omori) landed 10 bass for 15-5.
All seven episodes of the 2024 General Tire Team Series Bass Pro Shops Championship Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches are now available to watch on the MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) streaming app. The full television schedule can be found at MajorLeagueFishing.com/tv-schedule.
