Rajasthan Congress MLA Rafeek Khan 'Attacked' By Retired Paramilitary Officer In Jaipur- VIDEO
Jaipur: A brawl erupted outside Congress MLA Rafeek Khan's home in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur on Thursday. A man named Vikas Chaudhary, a retired CRPF officer allegedly attacked the MLA. Khan's supporters immediately came to his rescue and thrashed the retired paramilitary officer. The motive of Chaudhary's action is still not known.In the video that surfaced online, it could be seen that an altercation broke out between the two and the retired paramilitary officer attacked the MLA. The police arrested the accused. The video is being widely shared on social media platforms. Chaudhary held the MLA from the collar of his kurta. After getting the information, the police swung into action and took the retired paramilitary officer into custody. A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.Khan is currently serving as the MLA from the Adarsh Nagar Assembly constituency. In July this year, he was appointed as the chief whip in the assembly by the Congress. Meanwhile, Chaudhary opted for the voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) in 2021.
