Initially serving as an affable employee of the Pentagon, Duvall’s life turns upside down when his sister and niece inadvertently fall at the center of Mark’s catastrophic fight with Omni-Man in Invincible Season 1. After losing both of them in the horrific ordeal, a devastated Duvall makes it his life’s goal to exact revenge on Mark.
Powerplex makes his on-screen debut in Invincible Season 3, Episode 6, presenting a more intimate conflict for Grayson to tackle compared to his usual rivals.
What are Powerplex’s powers and abilities in Invincible?
Despite always possessing energy absorption powers, Duvall chose to lead a normal life in the comics. However, after setting his sights on a path of vengeance and embracing the persona of Powerplex, he steals Bio-Therm discs from the Pentagon in a bid to enhance his powers and abilities. Additionally, Powerplex can fire electric blasts at the ground to propel himself into flight, albeit at a significant cost to his energy supply.
