It was a windy one yesterday, and will be again tomorrow so it was nice that anglers could get out and enjoy a day on the water today.
Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing has had some spectacular shooting as of late and his clients couldn't be happier. Big cow nosed and southern rays are the daily harvest and Captain Marc is on target!
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported more fish on the bottom machine than would eat, but he still managed a decent catch of sea bass with some flounder mixed in on today's trip.
Anglers fishing aboard On The Run with Captain Dave Caffrey had a nice day with some bluefish in the morning and a couple of keeper flounder in the afternoon.
Big Bird Cropper and his buddy Steven had a good day at the route 50 bridge putting a limit of bluefish and rockfish in the cooler.
Brian Reynolds caught this jumbo 36.5" bluefish at the route 50 bridge this afternoon.
