UB Opens ‘Business Week 2025’

The University of The Bahamas Officially Launched ‘Business Week’ during an opening ceremony held in the auditorium of the Harry C. Moore Library on Monday, 3rd March. The week of activities is being held under the theme, “Unleashing Our Potential and Creating New Opportunities”. The event is hosted by the College of Business and will include a series of sessions presented by prominent alumni and industry professionals who will discuss discuss a cross-section of topics with the objective of providing students with the necessary tools, plans of action and a deeper understanding of the skills and knowledge needed in order to navigate today’s fast-paced environment.Speaking on behalf of MInister of Economic Affairs, the Hon. Michael Halkitis, was UB Assistant Professor, Senator, the Hon. Dr. Erecia Hepburn-Forbes, who discussed the importance of Artificial Intelligence in the business world. She encouraged students to responsibly use all the tools available in the field of Artificial Intelligence to enhance their areas of interest.
