THE Kansas City Chiefs might be looking to transform their running back room.
Reports indicate that the Kansas City Chiefs met with two top running back prospects at the NFL Combine.

The Chiefs held meetings with Cam Skattebo of Arizona State and Quinshon Judkins of Ohio State.
Both of these players were extremely productive in college football during the 2024 season.
Skattebo rushed for 1,711 yards with 21 touchdowns in 13 games. He also caught 45 passes for 605 yards with three touchdowns.
Judkins rushed for 1,060 yards with 14 touchdowns in 16 games. He also caught 22 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns.
The meetings with these two running back prospects does raise the question of if the Chiefs are considering moving on from Isiah Pacheco.
Pacheco proved to be a productive back in his first two years with the Chiefs, but he has also proven to be a bit fragile.
Through his first two seasons he had 1,765 rushing yards with 12 touchdowns.
However, he only played seven games in his third season due to a major knee injury.
Pacheco was nowhere near the same player when he returned for the playoffs as well.
In three games he only had 37 rushing yards and didn’t score a single touchdown.
The Chiefs could be preparing for the possibility that Pacheco won’t return to form in the future by drafting a new player at the position.
Skattebo and Judkins are both expected to be drafted from the range of the second to fourth rounds.
Chiefs fans are seemingly excited about the prospect of bringing in Judkins or Skattebo and shared their thoughts on social media.
“I doubt it but if we can somehow get him to KC I would cry. Dudes a beast,” one fan said.
