Two investigations regarding Wendy Williams’ guardianship situation have been launched. This is something Wendy has been working on as she does not believe she should be under anyone’s thumb. So, who is looking into everything and what is the hope when it is all over? Keep reading for more details.
Two Investigations About Wendy Williams’ Guardianship Started
Wendy Williams seemed to have a serious backslide in her life several years ago and was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and primary progressive aphasia (PPA). This was seen in a Lifetime documentary which explored what her life was at its current state. She appeared dissociated and somewhat lost, a show that was deemed exploitative. At the same time, she was placed under court-ordered guardianship in 2022. Sabrina Morrissey has been the one in charge but Wendy finally got her voice back. She claimed she did not have dementia and was just fine.

More so, she no longer wanted or needed a guardian and was attempting to get Sabrina removed. That was a struggle as she has been locked up in a memory care facility though it appears she does not belong there. Even staff at the facility has noted how well she is doing and how her memory is just fine. She did an interview with TMZ which was a part of a documentary. Wendy seemed cohesive and clear but desperate to be freed. Now, two investigations are going on to help her be freed from the guardianship and finally live her best life.
According to an insider close to Wendy Williams, she just spoke with Adult Protective Services. They are attempting to reach out to her closest allies to further understand her living situation. It does not seem like she should be on the memory care floor but is being kept under lock and key. Wendy has also sought help from the NYPD to further investigate her guardianship. Famed attorney, Joe Tacopina is looking into representing the former talk show host as this could become a jury trial.

That is all people get to see of Wendy is her standing at the window and it has become utterly sad. Her niece, Alex Finnie, was talked to regarding all things guardianship and how her aunt has been repressed. After fans learned that two investigations were launched in an attempt to aid Wendy, they immediately headed to social media to share their thoughts:
