Dallas Cowboys, CeeDee Lamb agree to contract extension
The extensive contract dispute between the Dallas Cowboys and star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has finally come to an end. Lamb and the Cowboys have agreed to a contract extension for four years, $136 million. Lamb is now the second-highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, according to Adam Schefter.

Lamb has recorded over 1,000 yards in three of his four NFL seasons, with the lone season outside of that number landing at 935 yards. Through four years, Lamb averages 1,286.3 yards and eight touchdowns per season. He is fresh off of his career-best statistical season, catching 135 passes for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 25-year-old receiver has been All-Pro twice, made three Pro Bowls and led the NFL in receptions last year.
During his three seasons at Oklahoma before going pro, Lamb made a huge name for himself. The former Sooner star had 3,292 yards and 32 touchdowns in just three seasons of action. Lamb was a two-time All-Big 12 selection, including First Team in 2019, and a consensus All-American that same year.
Prior to his Oklahoma career, Lamb was a four-star prospect from Foster High School in Richmond, Tex. He held offers from the likes of Alabama, LSU, Florida and others before choosing to play for the Sooners.
