Bridgewell Day Of Community Service At Peabody's Newhall Fields Farm
PEABODY, MA — More than 60 members of the Peabody-based Bridgewell nonprofit social and human services organization kicked off its annual month-long community service campaign with a day of giving back at Peabody's Newhall Field Community Farm on Tuesday.Bridgewell members helped replant seeds for the spring, lay mulch, shovel gravel onto the greenhouse floor, and perform other landscaping duties for the municipal farm.State Rep. Thomas Walsh (D-Peabody) helped lay cardboard to be put under mulch for dogwood planting at the farm on Tuesday.
