Hall of Famer Demands to “Punch” Chennedy Carter; Has a Problem With Caitlin Clark’s Fever Teammates
It had been five days and two matchups since Saturday’s Clark-Carter incident. However, the controversy has struck a chord with the public, with Chicago Sky guard and Fever WNBA Draft No. 1 pick at the center of a social media tsunami. While many argued that Chennedy Carter engaged in a deliberate attempt to throw herself into Caitlin Clark, whose back was turned to her, the fiasco gained traction. Nancy Lieberman has something to add as she questions Carter’s methods.
During the interview on “Run it Back,” Lieberman said, “If I were Caitlin Clark, I would have punched her in the face. I would have told her to f**k off and that would actually cure the problem because I know Chennedy since she was in high school here in Dallas. She is a tough kid. She’s a really good basketball player.”
