Donald Trump loves this pastor who just said LGBTQ+ people are “demonic”
Jackson Lahmeyer, the founder of Pastors for Trump, an organization working to bolster Donald Trump’s support among evangelicals in all 50 states, said that LGBTQ+ equality was inspired by demons.
“And we see it through different movements,” Lahmeyer said. “You have the gay and the trans agenda, that movement there. Which, by the way, the LGBTQXYZ+3 movement is a demonic-inspired movement. It’s totally demonic.”

In late 2022, after his failed U.S. Senate campaign ended, Laymeyer created Pastors for Trump to support Trump’s 2024 reelection bid. While the group is officially separate from the Trump campaign, Trump promoted the group on his social media platform Truth Social and sent Lahmeyer a note that read, “THANK YOU—MY GREAT HONOR.” Lahmeyer proudly posted the note to Facebook.
“I will embrace Christian Nationalism because… we are at war in this country; it is a spiritual war between good and evil,” Laymeyer said, explaining why he founded the dark money organization, according to Rolling Stone.
Lahmeyer is also the lead pastor at Sheridan Church in Tulsa. He has said that Black Lives Matter is a “domestic terrorist organization” founded by “witchcraft-practicing lesbians” and has pushed anti-vaccine conspiracy theories.
“There is no such thing as a trans kid,” he posted on social media several years ago. “There are only adults who have abused and brainwashed their children.” He often refers to the LGBTQ+ movement as the “LGBTQXYZ” movement and claims that LGBTQ+ people support pedophilia and bestiality.
