Notre Dame releases depth chart for season opener against Texas A&M
Notre Dame opens its season with a primetime game Saturday night in College Station. The Fighting Irish released their Week 1 depth chart Monday ahead of that marquee matchup.
It was already clear that Duke transfer quarterback Riley Leonard is QB1, but there are other notable distinctions across the Notre Dame two-deep.

For instance, sophomore Christian Gray beat out junior Jaden Mickey and will start opposite of Irish star cornerback Benjamin Morrison. Plus, underclassmen Anthonie Knapp and Sam Pendleton are officially listed as the starting left tackle and left guard, respectively.
