Simone Biles’ Gold Over America Tour Teammate Exits Event After Heartbreaking Injury
The Gold Over America Tour is displaying gymnastics in all its glistening glory to fans across the country. And yet, unexpected hiccups along the way cannot be entirely avoided either. While Simone Biles leads her GOAT squad as they hit a long list of cities across the USA, one of her teammates had to crash out of the road for an unfortunate reason.
Earlier today (September 23), 2x World Championships medalist Donnell Whittenburg took to Instagram to announce that he will be exiting the Gold Over America Tour. Revealing that he has incurred an injury, Whittenburg put forward a rather philosophical thought. “Sometimes, life throws unexpected challenges our way, You really never know, what to expect,but there’s a reason for everything,” he wrote before noting that he has been hurt while performing on tour.
