In the video, Bounds says that he found the recipe on the Pepper recipe app, but he walked his followers through the recipe. To make these, you'll need a can of crescent rolls, mozzarella cheese sticks, pepperoni slices, marinara sauce (for dipping), garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (optional, for a little pizzazz) and eggs. Heat your oven to 375° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.Place half a cheese stick on the wide end of each dough triangle. Next, line the rest of the crescent roll with pepperoni slices, going toward the pointy end of the triangle. Starting at the wide end, roll up each crescent tightly, tucking in the sides if needed to keep the cheese from oozing out too much. Place them on the baking sheet, seam-side down. Brush with an egg wash and top with garlic powder, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes (if using).Bake the roll-ups for around 17 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Let them cool for a minute, then serve with marinara sauce for dipping. That’s it!
