OSHI NO KO Teases MEMcho Collaboration With Hololive’s Usada Pekora
OSHI NO KO‘s MEMcho is getting another VTuber collaboration in her quest to become a more famous YouTuber. This new video will be uploaded on May 13 at 6 PM JST, and an image posted by the anime’s X (formerly Twitter) account all but confirms that MEMcho’s next guest is Usada Pekora from hololive.
MEMcho previously collaborated with Nijisanji’s Hoshikawa Sara last month.

In OSHI NO KO‘s story, MEMcho is a YouTuber who later joins the revived B-Komachi idol group. The Rumi Okubo –voiced character debuted as the anime’s official VTuber in December 2022, although she is mostly referred to as a YouTuber, in line with the character’s background.
The OSHI NO KO anime is based on the manga written by Aka Akasaka and drawn by Mengo Yokoyari, which began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump in 2020 and has 14 tankoubon volumes as of April 2024. Yen Press describes the manga as:
Season 1 premiered in April 2023, while Season 2 will debut in July 2024. HIDIVE will stream the series.
