IDA Valencia: A Season of Collective...

As we reflect on an incredible 2024–2025 season at IDA Valencia, it’s clear that the growth and success of our players has extended far beyond individual milestones. While several of our athletes continue making strides toward professional contracts and college commitments, this year has truly been defined by the strength of our teams—their shared identity, tactical maturity, and commitment to each other.
Quart First Team – Champions & Promoted to Sixth Division
The Quart first team, led by Vicente Bosch (Technical Director of IDA Valencia), has completed a historic season—winning the league and earning promotion to the Sixth Division of Spanish football. This milestone marks a major step forward in the club’s long-term footballing project.
From the start, Quart established a clear identity built on intelligent possession, tactical discipline, and an ambitious attacking mindset. Their style was both effective and entertaining—dominating games while adapting to different challenges with confidence.
Key players like IDA coaches Marc Cosme and Adrian Pinazo, along with Juan, brought consistency, leadership, and composure in big moments. Several academy players—Sebastian Pandura, Luciano Tuo, Mikal Greene, Marcos Sotarello, Simon Hardy, and Tristin Kelsey—made important contributions, showing the strength of IDA’s development model and reinforcing the pathway to senior football.
An unbeaten away record highlighted the team’s tactical maturity and mental resilience. Throughout the season, the squad displayed professionalism, unity, and a commitment to high standards—on and off the pitch.
This promotion reflects more than just success in the standings; it’s a validation of the club’s football philosophy, coaching leadership, and the effectiveness of its integrated development structure. Quart now enters a new chapter, equipped with momentum, identity, and a strong foundation for continued growth.
U19 – MIC 2025 ChampionsThe U19 team, coached by George, claimed the title of Silver Division champions at the prestigious MIC 2025 tournament. Despite being placed in an extremely competitive group during the initial phase and not advancing to the Gold Division, the team responded with exceptional tactical and emotional maturity.
In the Silver phase, they dominated every match through a clear, structured, and courageous positional style of play. They dictated the tempo, controlled possession, and created numerical advantages from the back. The final was a perfect reflection of their footballing philosophy: control, patience, and precision.
Key roles were played by the full-backs, wingers, and central midfielders, who demonstrated excellent understanding of their positioning at every moment of the match. Their reaction after losing possession was particularly outstanding—an essential component of their game marked by strength, focus, and collective commitment.
U19 – Quart 2025 Champions
The U19 team representing Quart has been one of the most consistent and dominant squads of the year. Under George’s leadership, the team excelled in both the league and the VIF League, closing the season with an impressive total of 17 victories.
In the league, they achieved a historic run of 13 consecutive wins—a record that speaks volumes about their quality, competitive mindset, and week-to-week consistency.
From the very beginning of the season, the team displayed a well-defined identity based on positional play with the ball. They controlled the tempo of matches, created numerical advantages, and wore down opponents with intelligent ball circulation. Their high-intensity pressing after losing possession was among the most effective in the competition, regularly winning the ball back in key areas.
Physical strength was also a major factor. This is a team with the endurance and intensity to maintain a high level throughout the full 90 minutes, capable of dominating both offensively and defensively.
One of the team’s standout figures was their international player from Puerto Rico, who established himself as the best player in the category due to his tactical and technical influence. His leadership and consistent performances were instrumental in the team’s success.
This team stood out for its cohesion, tactical discipline, and ambition—a season that will be remembered as one of the best for this generation.
U17 – VIF League ChampionsThe U17 team, coached by Pinazo, achieved what many consider the most prestigious title among youth academies in Spain. This squad exemplified the core values of team football: solidarity, collective effort, and tactical intelligence.
From the very first match, the team showcased a strong identity. Their game model was clearly defined: high-intensity defending, fluid attacking play, and unwavering commitment during difficult moments. They knew how to suffer together and attack together, adapting to the different phases of the game with maturity and unity.
Their success was not based on individual brilliance, but on the collective. Every player understood their role, and everyone worked for the benefit of the team. A group that left a lasting impression.
U19 Navy – Spanish Champions Cup (Salou) WinnersThe U19 Navy team delivered an exceptional performance in the Spanish Champions Cup held in Salou, securing the title after an impeccable tactical and defensive tournament.
Their greatest strength was their defensive solidity. They did not concede a single goal throughout the competition—an achievement that is extremely rare at this level. This speaks to a compact, focused, and well-organized unit. The credit goes not only to the backline or goalkeeper but to the entire squad, who defended as a team from start to finish.
Offensively, they also showed a high level of performance, but it was their collective effort, discipline, and commitment without the ball that ultimately secured the championship.
