Another Large Meat Shoplifting Reported At Montclair Supermarket

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Another expensive meat theft was recently reported at the Kings Supermarket on Valley Road in Montclair, police say.According to the Montclair Police Department, the latest theft took place on Feb. 26. Here’s what happened, authorities said:“A male individual entered the Kings Supermarket. The individual proceeded to walk to the meat department within the store. The individual then selected 15 different meat items and placed them in his reusable shopping bag. The individual then exited the store via the north side entrance door.”The shoplifter escaped with $345 worth of meat, authorities said.The suspect was captured on surveillance footage. He is clean-shaven and between 5 feet 6 inches and 190 pounds.
