Scott Adams, creator of the Dilbert comic strip, announced on Monday, that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, the same diagnosis as former President Joe Biden.
Adams, a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, has drawn controversy in recent years for his political commentary and views.
In a livestream of his show "Real Coffee with Scott Adams," he said he expects to live only through the summer, noting the disease has become intolerable and left him in constant pain, now requiring the use of a walker.
Adams had not previously disclosed his cancer diagnosis and did not reveal when he was first diagnosed. However, he remarked that he has "had it longer than [President] Biden has had it"—adding, "Well, longer than he's admitted to having it."
Despite his diagnosis, Adams said he intends to continue his daily livestream as long as his condition allows.
