Seahawks Wideout Apparently Admitted Patriots Got Hosed By Crunch-Time Call

FOXBORO, Mass. -- Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett apparently did not believe Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones should have been whistled for a game-altering penalty during New England's 23-20 overtime loss.
Lockett told Jones his defensive pass interference penalty was not a penalty at all, Jones told reporters after the game.
"Straight up, that's what he told me," Jones said in the Patriots locker room. "It sucks because I feel like that was the play of the game."

The penalty on Jones went for 20 yards and gave Seattle's offense a new set of downs at New England's 49-yard line. The Seahawks kicked the game-winning field goal six plays later, capping an eight-play, 71-yard scoring drive.
Jones pleaded for somebody from the league to explain why the flag was thrown.
The veteran cornerback wasn't the only Patriots player to disagree either.
"I feel like it definitely wasn't called in the right direction," safety Kyle Dugger said after the loss.
The Patriots defense held the Seahawks at bay for much of the second half. Seattle, however, used a nine-play drive to tie the game with under one minute left and marched down the field on its first possession of the overtime to win the game.
The 1-1 Patriots will try to rebound when they face the New York Jets on Thursday night.
