Overnight Construction to Close Stoneybrook West Parkway and Community Entrance
Heads up to all late-night drivers in the Stoneybrook area: Construction work is going to lead to the closure of Stoneybrook West Parkway, and the Stoneybrook West community entrance. According to the Central Florida Expressway Authority, there will be some overnight construction affecting your drive starting at 11 PM on Thursday, July 25, and going until 5 AM on Friday, July 26. The construction is focused on the noise wall along the southbound side of the parkway, directly adjacent to the Stoneybrook West community, according to the City of Winter Garden press release.
For those who frequent the area, Stoneybrook Parkway will be closed south of CR 535 during these times, but don't worry, a detour will be in place. Traffic will be redirected onto the southbound Stoneybrook West Parkway slip ramp, to southbound SR 429, and, then back onto Stoneybrook West Parkway south of the closure. Along with the parkway itself, the Tenbury Wells Way entrance and exit for the Stoneybrook West community will also be out of commission during the same overnight window.
The schedule, however, is tentative and could see some adjustments. The Central Florida Expressway Authority has pledged to keep disruptions to a minimum and has issued an apology for any inconvenience caused.
