Shelter-In-Place Warning Issued For Trumbull Neighborhood
TRUMBULL, CT — An emergency shelter-in-place alert is still in effect for a Trumbull neighborhood as police from several agencies search on foot for an armed suspect, the Trumbull Police Department said Thursday afternoon.The search is taking place in the Unity Road neighborhood including on Unity Road, Saybrook Road, Partridge Lane, Windmill Lane, and Priscilla Place, police initially said just before 10:30 a.m.At around 12:30 p.m., police said the directive is still in effect until further notice and asked residents to stay away from the affected neighborhood. The shelter-in-place notification was sent to people in the area through the Trumbull Citizen Alert system and included streets south of Unity Road.
