Joe Exotic divorced Dillon Passage in 2021, and the Tiger King personality got engaged to Jorge Marquez, a fellow inmate in prison. The news arrived in October last year via platform X. Joe serves time for allegedly arranging the death of Carole Baskin. Late last week, Joe cried and begged President Donald Trump not to deport his new lover.
Tearful Appeal By Netflix Character
The Tiger King star spoke with The Sun US on March 7, and he just wanted to get his message out to President Donald Trump. He must have married Jorge Marquez because he referred to him as a “husband.” As Marquez is Mexican, of course, he was high on the list for deportation and will leave America in May.
Exotic still has many years to run for his conviction, and he has been reported to not be very well. Probably, Marquez gave him lots of comfort behind bars. So, the thought of losing him seems to drive Exotic over the edge. The outlet cited him as saying that Marquez is his “rock.”
Begging Trump
The Netflix star cried as he said, “All I pray for today is just let God end this for me,” talking about how he will “die” if Marquez moves away. If he or his lover can’t get a “pardon” from DJT, then he hopes that perhaps the president can arrange to relocate Joe Exotic to a prison in Mexico. That way, they could be close to each other.

Exotic, who it was rumored would use Kim Kardashian to get him out of prison, now suffers from heartbreak. He said, “They’re in the process of deporting my husband and he doesn’t have a drug case or a gun case.” Explaining more, he added, “He was in America illegally and he was riding around with two of his friends. So they charged him all with trafficking each other. They’re deporting them back to Mexico.”
Will It Work For Him?
In reality, it’s probably unlikely that Donald Trump will pardon someone or transfer anyone to prevent a bit of heartbreak. Perhaps Joe played the heartbreaker because the president is known to be close to his family.
Joe concluded by saying:
Keep in mind, everybody out in the world when you’re sick and you have something as devastating as cancer is, you have your family, you have your own house, you have your whole support system out there…When you’re in this system and you have no family, no nothing.
